Watched "Paint Your Wagon" with my adult children this evening. Such a good movie. A farce, hilarious, thoughtful, not something to show to children. We enjoyed it.
My children asked what it says about me that I know the words to all the songs. This was one of the first subversive things I watched as a teen. Turns out life is complex and wonderful and terrible and horrifying and funny--haha funny and just odd.
I needed a good belly laugh, and also tears. This was it.
