Grieving

When grieving:
Listening to you rant is useful, because it means you're getting those emotions out. That's good. Also, so you can sleep: sobbing is okay. A grief counselor isn't there to make it all better; a grief counselor is there to be with you, listen while you process what you're thinking. When your spouse dies, you can't talk to him or her about what you're thinking, and some of what you're thinking you don't want to tell your children or your in-laws or your parents; those are the things you tell a grief counselor and let those emotions drain out.
